In this tutorial I will show you how to create lines connected to 3D points using the Beam plug-in inside of After Effects. We start with tracking a shot inside AE using Cameratracker. Then we export that data to Cinema 4d to create 3D text. After that, we move back into AE where we composite our 3D text into our tracked footage and use expressions with Beam to create lines in 3D space.

In today s tutorial we ll be making the Sherlock Holmes 2 intro title animation. In the first part, we ll be in Cinema 4d where we ll create and animate the logo, lights and materials. From there, our second part will be spent in After Effects compositing all the elements we ve created together and doing a final color correction pass to complete our project.

In this tutorial I show you how to create complex looking glitch effects that have a lot of texture. The textures are created using elements that we will put together and by the stacking of effects.
