A comprehensive anthology of The Jam's recordings: all studio albums and almost all singles, some songs in demo versions, some Paul Weller's solo recordings. First release in 1997, re-issued in 2006 (and possibly more times).

If you think that I do have all this fine stuff, you are wrong! I have only FLAC files downloaded from the net with front covers supplied and some extra pictures from different sources.

For the start, some words of complaint (taken from here): One annoyance is that the songs are in strict chronological order, with singles & b-sides preceding albums. For example, the first tracks on the box set is the single "In the City"/"Takin' My Love", only then followed by the first track on the debut album, "Art School." This approach chops All Mod Cons to pieces, and Setting Sons loses several tracks to a separate disc; the other albums thankfully don't suffer too many disruptions.

A correction needed: the album Setting Sons loses the only track -- The Eton Rifles, it is included on a previous disc. Anyway, the chaos created in the albums tracks order is very moderate compared with other anthologies of the kind, where album splitting between adjacent CDs is a common practice.
